Lemming Syndrome
Description
Lemming Syndrome is a 1-player arcade game for the BBC Micro and Electron.
Mad Marco is on the rampage again, and has blown up the suspension bridge to the mainland. The only escape for the panic-stricken population is to jump, lemming-style, into the shark-infested waters, or else face Mad Marco.
The player controls Lifeboat Lennie, whose job is to ferry the fleeing people to safety by bouncing them across the water using their raft. The lifeboat can be positioned to the left, center, or right of the river. The player receives points for every person to safely cross the river, and how many didn't make the crossing is recorded. The player must avoid Mad Marco's dynamite as well as dangerous sharks while trying to bounce people across. There are five levels of game speed, and the player can control the raft manually, or automatically position the raft in the three available positions.
