Pipe Dream
- Pipe Dream (1989 on DOS, Commodore 64, Macintosh...)
Description
Pipe Dream is an unofficial conversion of Pipe Dream. The mechanics are identical to the original game: The game places a pipe on a random location of a 7x10 grid. Then the player places other random pipes (the next five can be seen in a preview) on the grid and connect them to each other and the initial pipe. The goal is to create a pipe network which keeps liquid into circulation as long as possible. Said liquid starts flowing from the initial pipe after a few seconds of play. It is possible to replace pipes with a new one as long as the liquid didn't reach it yet. Afterwards points are rewarded and retracted based on the player's performance.
The biggest difference to the original is the absence of different levels. There is only the choice between normal and fast speed.
