Here is a nearby farm, with a farmer walking around. (The WC is an odd bit in this setting, as there is no water in the house, nor any heating in the 'loo to keep it from freezing in winter.)

Looting the farm. A 'secret object' is glowing in the dark, a model aircraft. These give extra points if found. The farmer also had a pickaxe and a dead rabbit which we will take for food.

Going through doors we have the option of peeking before fully opening them, so as not to rush into unexpected enemies. Noone outside now, but this is how it looks.

Now we can use the pickaxe to open a way through some rocks blocking our way earlier. After this obstacle is passed, we meet more dangerous enemies ahead.
