Description

Rat Patrol is a 1-player arcade game for the Panasonic JR-200.

The player controls a snake that gains points by eating rats moving on the screen. The snake moves in the cardinal directions, and gets longer for every rat it eats. When the snake reaches a certain length it sheds its skin, which is left on the screen. If a rat eats cheese it turns purple, and will quickly run to its hole. Purple rats make the snake longer than regular rats. The player loses a life if they hit their own tail or a shed snake skin. Rats can eat up shed snake skins of they are herded towards them. Every 200 points the game speeds up.
