Locks of Luck

Locks of Luck is a text adventure for the BBC Micro and Electron, and the sequel to What's Eeyore's.

In a bid to make King Golly look ridiculous, Sahara the Sandwitch has stolen his dreadlocks and hidden them away. The King has gone into hiding because it someone notices, he'll be laughed out of his Kingdom. In desperation, he has sent his son-in-law Joe to kill the witch and return his crowning glory. Starting in the King's residency, the player tries to find the 12 treasures scattered through the land and bring them back to the King's throne room. The game is full of puns and word play for puzzles. Each treasure recovered and defeating the witch increases the player's score to a maximum of 1,000.
