At least on the Spectrum, every section except the ski-jump was based around borrowed Hypersports code, in order to ensure that the game was ready for Christmas 1985.

ZX Spectrum version differences

There are two versions of this game for ZX Spectrum: 48K and 128K. There were some changes between them:

• 128K contains four additional events ending up in total number of 12 events,
• 128K loads in one go everything into RAM of the machine,
• 128K opens with a rendition of the Chariots of Fire theme tune.
