Description official description
In TKO you can play the career of a boxer. Create your boxer by trading off a mixture of attributes, for example a boxer who cuts easily will not tire as easily, and a boxer whose best punch is to the head will not punch to the body as efficiently.
The main 1st-person perspective view shows the faces of both you and your opponent, including progressively injured faces as you land punches. A small overhead view helps you see when you or your opponent are close to the ropes.

Trivia
Graphics
TKO supports MCGA graphics, but only in 320x200 16 color. However, a custom color palette is used to improve the appearance over the standard 16 color palette as used in the EGA and Tandy versions. When the game starts up, you are given a list of the available options and a recommendation on which graphics mode to choose. If a VGA card is detected, EGA mode (not MCGA) is recommended, so if you follow this recommendation you will miss out on the improved color palette!
