Dungeon Siege II: Broken World

Campaign

The new Dungeon Siege II: Broken World campaign can not be played until the base game's campaign is completed. The game does upgrade Dungeon Siege II to patch version 2.3 with additional spells, characters, etc., but the new storyline is inaccessible until that condition is met.

Digital releases

For unknown reasons, this expansion is not included in Steam and GOG.com versions of Dungeon Siege II, but the 2.3 build unique to Broken World is used as their base.

Online servers

The game's online servers which were hosted on GameSpy were scheduled to shut down on 31 May 2014 in the wake of GameSpy's total closure.
