Brigade E5: New Jagged Union is based on the game E5 (2002), mainly by the same developers. It was released on the internet, Russian publisher 1C Company expressed interest in the game and they offered a contract for commercial development. The team then went on to officially establish the company Apeiron and they worked more than 3 years on this game.
