Sonar is a tad more elaborate then you may have seen in other sims. In 688i Hunter/Killer you get 5 different modes to choose from.
In the modern navy, you know more about the enemy than they know about themselves. Pull up database information on every ship and buoy in the simulated seas.
Do you like to travel? We've modeled the entire world (as it applies to the ocean floor). Plot your coarse with incredible precision and accuracy.
Oh, look - a lone surface vessel. The ocean is not a placid and flat plane, in 688i ships pitch and rock with the seas.
In case you're wondering, this is the weapons firing station. This ain't no point, click, shoot operation here. You have to follow accurate naval firing procedures before letting loose that torp.
Track your launched weapons here and watch the blips go away. You can successfully track and destroy multiple targets, presuming of course you live long enough to do so.
