Human troopers are excellent for destroying airborne targets, but get decimated in the face of artillery or mechs.
Like their human counterparts, the alien infantry units are excel at removing unwanted airborne intruders.
These human mechs have ranged attacks and move quickly.
Sythes can only fight hand to hand, but close ground quickly.
Humans use Firestorms as mobile gun turrents. Once placed, they can not be moved.
The Gray equivalent to the Firestorm is the Xeno. These dig into the ground and form a suitable defense.
Attacks from long distances are possible with baragers.
These artillery units fire globes of energy from their 'heads'.
