Savory and piquant, just like the cereal.

The Good
In the history of product tie-ins, I have never experienced such an amazing piece of art such as this game. Take that as you will. The graphics are animated 2D sprites and at least you can tell what's going on. Gameplay consists of building your crunchling's stats up by, among other things, racing in a skateboarding mini-game. Well at least the game seems to respond to my keyboard input.

The Bad
The sound effects are so repetitive and annoying you'll probably..well let's just say they're awful. Hearing ol' Capn's 5 lines of dialogue over and over certainly detracted from MY gaming experience.

The Bottom Line
I edited the .wav files of the game to play various other things to great comedic effect. This game has great potential for humor, and perhaps you could say it is also extremely modifiable in that sense. You can't go wrong if you chance upon a 4 year old Captain Crunch cereal box and this game is nestled warmly inside.

Creative but short.

The Good
It has quite a sense of humor. Take backwordia where you race against a moonwalking tortoise. The characters look nice and very expressive. The gameplay is good for the racing and platforming minigames, though they do get old after a while.

The Bad
The minigames do get old pretty quick, especially the rock tossing game. However this game did come in a cereal box, so having high replay value isn't a expectation. Overall it's probably the 2nd best cereal based PC game behind Chex Quest.

The Bottom Line
Pet raising minigame compilation, starring a furby, a pirate who had too much sugar and a chain smoking reptile.
