The original release provided no means to acquire the ATP certificate. The internal program flag that was to be set was never achieved during in-house and beta testing.

Lawsuit

This game's publication was delayed several months due to a lawsuit from Microsoft, whom by then owns some of the code that went into their Flight Simulator series, developed with subLOGIC and BAO. The case was eventually settled out of court, forcing subLOGIC to relinquish any mention of "flight simulator" from their name or any products they make.
