Release history
Though originally developed for a cartridge release in 1994, Shubibinman Zero was cancelled after the game itself was finished. However, unlike most cancelled titles, it would eventually officially see the light of day; it was released as a downloadable title in 1997 through the Satellaview service in Japan, which was much like the Sega Channel service available in the United States. Twenty years later the game would finally receive a physical release thanks to the electronics manufacturer Columbus Circle, who had purchased the IP from the by then defunct Masaya company.
