Tamagotchi CD-ROM
Description official description
Manage your very own virtual pet based upon the popular electronic toy. Raise your very own Tamagotchi from egg form to adulthood if you can. The CD-ROM version adds a scrapbook, screensaver, more mini-games, and a day care center for when you're away from the PC. This game costs the same as purchasing a physical Tamagotchi.

If you're chained to your desk and you like Tamagotchis...
The Good
The graphics are pretty nice looking...
The Bad
I'm not much of fan of virtual pets to begin with. This game is no exception. It does retain all the functionality of a regular Tamagotchi, as well as adding some arcade mini-games. Still, there's not much to do. The only thing that got really upgraded was the graphics; the underlying logic is pretty much the same. If the gameplay was extraordinary, it would be worth it, but it's a very faddish game to begin with.
The Bottom Line
If you really must have a virtual pet, but don't want to be seen in public with one, buy this game.
