The OneeChanBara franchise has become so popular in Japan that a feature film was made based on the best selling videogame.

OneeChanBara: The Movie (2008) is directed by Yôhei Fukuda and was released in the spring. It stars Eri Otoguro as Aya and Chise Nakamura as Saki, two sisters who must work together to fight the evil zombie presence. The movie has stayed true to the video game in appearance; Aya and Saki are still wearing their trademark uniforms, a bikini/cowboy hat and a schoolgirls uniform.

Riho Futaba

While this is the first appearance of Riho Futaba in the Oneechanbara series (she could also be seen later in the next two games alongside her sister, Makoto), she regularly appears in many games of the "Simple 2000" budget-line series and serves as a idol for the line, always appearing in her trademark baby blue bikini. For example, Riho Futaba also appears in Demolition Girl as a 60-foot woman that the player must stop using a helicopter or a tank.
