How to ruin a great classic

The Good
Have you guys played the original version of this game? If you have, then you will probably realize that this is a disappointing reboot of that ambitious rare gem. Well, Alien Syndrome for the Wii has its redeeming qualities too. The multiplayer mode is a big plus, and the controls of the Wii really support this game, so you won't have much trouble with the control configuration system.

The Bad
However, there are many flaws which make this reboot a disappointing one, like many other remakes. The game's graphical presentation is pretty bland and it feels like you're playing a PSP game, as this game also has a PSP port which we didn't rate. There is quite a lot of repetition too: the game constantly throws alien enemies at you, and you generally shoot without walking.

The Bottom Line
While this game isn't all that bad, it feels more like a regressed version of the 80's alien shooter game than an improved classic.
