Roman Bowl

The Romans and their uninvited visitors the aptly named Visigoths take to the field once again but this time it's the football field.

The casual-arcade-football game Roman Bowl is played between two teams of ten players with five players on the field as offensive and five players waiting their turn as defensive. The rules of the game are a basic version of the American version of football with the player choosing from a list of three random plays and trying to get the ball to the opposite end of the field while avoiding the other teams attempts at blocking in a given number of turns according to, again, American football rules. Unlike American football though after a touchdown is made or whenever you can a kick is not done in the same traditional manner. Instead a catapult will arrive on the field and using adjustable slider for angle, power, and distance you will try to bring down a tower that appears on the end-zone.

There is an exhibition match mode where the teams play a quick game against each other or you may choose to play a tournament to unlock trophies and play against tougher teams. There are options to change the length of the games as well as options to adjust the challenge of the opposing team.
