Ship Simulator 2006 Professional

Ship Simulator 2006 Professional is a high-priced bundle that incorporates both Ship Simulator 2006 and The Official Ship Simulator 2006 Add-On. The most important change is that this version supports standard navigation equipment and software. That way, it can be used by Nautical colleges, Salespeople of navigation equipment and simulation players who want a more realistic experience.

GGA, ZDA and RMC are supported for GPS, HDT for the compass, VDM Messages for AIS and WPL for waypoints. Waypoints can be exported in the GPX format. That way, players can use the game to send out the position and the speed of the ship, the position and speed of non-player ships and the export of waypoints. The instruments can be connected through a serial port. The computer can also be linked to another system to output the charting software through a nullmodem cable, or simply through an additional monitor through a secondary VGA output. The game contains a serial port software emulator that eliminates the need for a second pc.

The package also includes the NMEA 0183 interface, navigation charts of the New York harbour, the demo of Stentec WinGPS pro and a trial of Rose Point Coastal Explorer 1.1.
