Clubby the Seal

Clubby the Seal turns the tables on what is commonly regarded as the Canadians' favourite pastime: smashing seals into pieces of fur generally worn by people with a sufficient surplus of body fat to render the use redundant.

Set in the Golgotha desert, an ice age takes places there every fifteen years, forming a natural bridge to the neighbouring arctic content of Torrid Grey. Players control Clubby, a seal who has escaped from a breeding camp and now uses the natural bridge to return and hunt for the skin of those who have oppressed him.

In typical side-scrolling fashion, Clubby can move around the screen, jump and use his club to take out enemies such as Eskibobs and Dream Smashers, while avoiding objects falling from the sky. Defeated enemies' skin is turned into clothes Clubby can collect. At the end of a level, skin can be exchanged at a shop for snacks, extra lives, a Jason mask that reduces sustained damage, and more. There are objects and obstacles to destroy, such as igloos.
