Tetrisphere
Description official descriptions
Tetrisphere adds a new dimension to the classic Tetris gameplay.
As usual, you drop pieces into the playing field to eliminate the blocks and clear the field. This time, however, the playing field is a sphere, and you must turn the sphere around to find a place to drop the pieces, and eventually get to the core to win. As you clear the field, certain moves may reveal magic items to help get to the core (rockets, dynamite, etc.).

Trivia
Development history
In early stages, the game was called Phear, and in development for the ill-fated Atari Jaguar. Originally slated for a release in early 1995, Nintendo bought the rights to the game, purportedly after seeing a demo running in Atari's booth at the 1995 Consumer Electronics Show, and it was reworked for the Nintendo 64 into its final form, released in August 1997.
