Maze game with several options

The Good
There are a lot of options and variations within the game. You can play two-player competitively or cooperatively.

The Bad
The graphics are colorful, but simple. The cat "enemies" are merely faces, and your "mouse" is simply a dat with two smaller dots for "ears."

There is no music, and sound is fairly basic.

The Bottom Line
A-Maze-Ing is a maze game, but with so many options that it's like several games in one.

For starters, you can select whether this will be a one or two player game. Two players play at the same time, racing to the finish, and can play competitively or cooperatively. Next, you select whether you want a simple escape maze (find the exit) or a cheese hunt (your mouse must collect the cheese throughout the maze).

Mazes can be "simple" or "complex." A simple maze has fewer twist and turns, and the corridors have more space to navigate. You can choose an invisible or visible maze. There can be obstacles placed in the corridors or "mouse holes" that are tiny exits between corridors. You can select a fast mouse (easier to avoid enemies, but harder to control) or a slow mouse.

Finally, there are selections for enemies. You can choose 0-2 cats in the maze with you. There are four speeds for the cats, and you can select their level of intelligence ("dumb" cats that wander aimlessly or "smart" cats that seek you out). Finally, the cats can be standard or "pouncing." A "pouncing" cat will periodically "jump" from one area of the maze to another, and could potentially land on your mouse after a pounce.
