The Blobjob
Description
The Blobjob was announced as "the first safety game designed to reach people about drugs, violence, sex, fire and traffic accidents while playing an adventure game."
In The Blobjob five nanomanufactured human organisms called "skin blobs" are on the loose. They are sent on a simple errand to deliver a super secret formula to the patents office, but they all disappear with their briefcases. Only one of these cases contains the secret formula, a solvent that is able to shrink and expand organic material on a molecular level.
You are Joe Ridley, a lowly security officer at NanoBlob Corporation. Your mission is to prevent that an idiot steals the formula and turns Mother Nature into a peanut. Finding the skin blobs is the only way to secure you from getting blobbed.
The Blobjob is a short FMV-based sci-fi adventure. After your mission instruction at the beginning of the game, you will receive a "portable blobber" with which you can shrink objects with any investigative value (i.e. your inventory). The game supplies a map to travel between locations. The game comes with music, sound effects and voices (that are captioned and can be skipped) .
