Wii version

Finally, a perfect Mario game that really refines 3D platformer -genre!

The Good
First thing is a gameplay, while it is very similar to the Super Mario Galaxy, by just collecting power stars and accessing new galaxies, it is still a outstanding to just describe it with few words! The controls works very well from the most part, either you want to jump over gaps filled with lava or spikes, the great controls is your friend!

The music, Oh Yeah, that's what I just love about this game! While it incorporates old tunes from older Mario games like Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. it still features new compositions that are really catchy!

Now with the graphics, that is probably the most gorgeous-looking game that I have ever seen in the Wii -game! Everything looks great, from the level design to the characters, the detail is exquisite!

The Bad
While I hate that Spring Mushroom is in this game, I didn't find it too frustrating for the second time, and that freaking poisonous water makes an another appearance in this game!!

While I was too hasty about the poisonous water in the original Super Mario Galaxy, since it gave me a feeling that children might find it particularly upsetting, since children does not want to see Mario sinking into poisonous water, but that unfortunate thing also happens in this game, and there's nothing I can do about it.

The Bottom Line
This is a definitive masterpiece that you should try at least once. Either if you want to try the original Super Mario Galaxy, or this sequel, you don't find too much differences between them, since both of these games are very similar between each other.
