Release history
This game was originally released for the Halcyon Interactive Laser Disc System and the arcade as Thayer's Quest by RDI Video Systems. When this game, and Shadoan were released, the character names were redone, perhaps to avoid paying royalties.
RDI Video Systems was founded by Rick Dyer, one of the people that created the Dragon's Lair and Space Ace arcade games. RDI Video Systems went bankrupt soon after releasing Thayer's Quest and the Halcyon Interactive Laser Disc System.
