100m dash. This is a simple game based on hitting the Z and X keys alternately to build up and maintain speed.

100m Dash. Both competitors have just crossed the line. Speed is shown in centimeters per second.

Not true but nice anyway
thumbnail
Long Jump : Speed is built up by hitting the Z & X buttons, as in the dash. At the end of the run up the player hits and holds the SPACE key until a suitable angle of leap is reached
thumbnail
If the jump starts too soon or too late then the player gets a foul. This second jump was close to the record for this level
thumbnail
Long jump : the character looks good in the air
thumbnail
Javelin : The same game-play as the long jump. Build up speed on the run up then hold the space bar until the right angle of release is achieved. Here the javelin has just been released
thumbnail
javelin : there's a little animation showing the javelin fly through the air and land
thumbnail
Hurdles : Again the player hammers the Z & X keys for speed and hits the SPACE key to make the jump. Aly hurdle hit slows the player down. The computer seems to make all its jumps.
thumbnail
Hammer : The Z & X keys are used to increase the rate of spin and the space key is used to release the hammer. As with previous games it's vital to hold the space key to get a good angle of release
thumbnail
Hammer : Three good throws, the earlier shorter throws were at really low angles
thumbnail
High jump : the computer controls the run up. The player has to press and hold SPACE at the right time to make the jump
