More proof that RTS games have fallen into a rut
The Good
The production values are good. The game has been thoroughly tested and retested, and is rock solid and is absolutely bug free.
The Bad
RTS games have fallen into a rut. Collect resources, build facilities and produce units, upgrade your forces and destroy your opponents. You know the routine, right? It's the same as in every other Red Alert or Warcraft and Starcraft game out there. Boring! Gaming used to be about innovation and pushing the envelope. RTS games such as Red Alert: Yuri's Revenge are anything but innovative.
The Bottom Line
It's another RTS game from Westwood Studios.
