This is the game's main menu. Only level 1 is accessible to start with. The stars are used to set the difficulty level
The options menu is tabbed The first tab sets up new players, (Bob comes with the game). The three other tabs redefine action keys, and configure sound & graphics
The high score table shows the score for all players for each section. This shows the scores for building the first storey in Level 1 : the prefabricated house.
The first part of level one is also the game's tutorial.
The first task is to 'slew the jib', doesn't that sound fantastic. Imagine being asked how your day went and replying 'I slew my jib over an 18 wheeler this morning'
This is view 2, a good view for picking up and dropping off. Note how the wall to be lifted is highlighted on the lorry.
Cycling through the camera angles. This is view 1 - the crane operators view.
Another view showing the first wall about to be lifted. The icon in the top right says the hooks have been attached and now is a good time to lift
The first wall is on its way, the outline shows whee it goes
When a load is almost in position the highlight on both load & drop point become green and a 'drop' icon appears in the top right
Another view showing a load being dropped off
After the walls comes the ceiling
The final piece to position is the chimney. Here it is being picked from the lorry
That highlighted hole in the roof is where the chimney goes
The close up view is really useful for this job
Ths actually took some doing. The chimney is partway between floors, from here it can be dropped into place
End of level 1- part 1. This is the score sheet. From here its back to the main men where level 1 part 2 of the game can be played.
