The game starts with the BMW / Sauber car as default. Here the player 'Moby Gamer' has already been set up
The player selects an initial racing series and this in turn supplies a default car. This is the player configuration screen where the racing series can be changed
Here the default series is the Lienz Festival of Speed and this is the default car
Other cars are available from the same team and other teams but all have a price tag
Having selected the race series and the car the next step is to select a track. The Replay Fridge is where all the race videos are stored.
The Chinese track has been chosen. testing mode will be used because this gives unlimited track time
Once selected the track must be loaded
The pre-race screen. This is a single player off-line game so the chat panel is not populated.
The BMW Sauber can be tweaked for best performance on this track. Not all cars can be customised to this degree
The Join menu tab shows all the game servers currently on-line. This shows that some servers are members only and others are for specific cars / tracks
The start of a race always begins with leaving the garage
Racing the BMW Sauber around the British Grand prix circuit
The second of the three available driver perspectives
This is the third available driver perspective
The BMW Sauber in all its glory viewed from a spectator camera. The car was stopped to make this shot easier
Leaving the pit lane in one of the Open Wheel vehicles
Racing downtown in one of the stock cars
Another driver perspective on the downtown race. There's some nice reflections in the windows of the skyscrapers to admire round this circuit
A spectator camera view of the stock car, this time on the British Grand Prix circuit This shot shows the detail of the track and the middle / far distance.
Racing around the streets of Lienze. The view in the car's mirror in this shot is incorrect but the street-side detail is excellent
