Jake Birkett attended the Ludum Dare number nineteen, a themed forty-eight hour game jam. That Ludum Dare's theme was 'discovery'. Birkett arrived late so he only had seven hours, with a brief lunch break, to create his game and submit it for judging. After he submitted the game, he spent three more hours adding a title screen, spiffing up the graphics, adding more sounds and polishing up the game. So the game's total creation time was ten hours.
