Paf le Chien
Description
Paf le Chien (French for "kick the dog") is a distance record game where the player needs to have Jim kick Paf the dog to make him travel as far as possible. Originally launched as a free flash game and as an app for Facebook, the goal is merely to get as far as possible. The starting position is determined by moving the mouse from the left to the right to control Jim's leg. When Paf hits a goose he is launched back in the air and can travel farther. While flying the game shows the distance, altitude and speed. The game keeps track of the best score.

Trivia
Remake
The Facebook version was reworked over time into a more extensive game where players can buy various items, need to invite friends, and can only play for a limited time unless they participate in activities, wait, or spend money. In 2012 it is still listed as beta. It was also ported to iOS and Android as Woof the Dog.
Title
Paf is not only the name of the dog, it also refers to a joke where "paf" is the French onomatopoeia for the sound when a dog is hit in an accident for instance. The joke is traditionally told this way:
« Tu connais l'histoire de Paf le chien ?
C'est l'histoire d'un chien qui traverse la rue. Une voiture arrive, et paf! le chien. »
