The Cross Formula
Description
The Cross Formula is a first-person "lite" adventure. It tells a classic amnesia storyline where the main character awakens in a hotel room and receives a message to get out because the police are on their way. There are no accompanying characters throughout the story, with only a few other people to talk to during the game.
The game uses a combination of logic puzzles and inventory puzzles with a simple point-and-click interface. There are 3 different difficulty levels, but the game sits firmly in the casual adventure game bracket overall, with a range of hint options available. The graphics are hand-drawn with limited 2D animation on the screen, but no scrolling. There are animated cutscenes between each of the chapters.
