Hokseong Daetalchul

The planet Cross is invaded by the army of the Galaxy Breakers. Prince Duke is imprisoned, but manages to break free. The only way to defeat the forces of the Galaxy Breakers would be by acquiring the legendary Mystery Sword. However, as Duke approaches the planet believed to harbor the sword, his ship is shot down, and he must find a way to escape.

Hokseong Daetalchul ("Great Planet Escape") is a side-scrolling shooter with light role-playing elements. There is a top-down overworld, but most of the action takes place in dungeon areas, where Duke encounters regular enemies and bosses. Duke mostly uses firearms, though there are a few melee weapons as well. There are no experience points, but Duke can collect gold and spend it in shops on a limited number of items.
