Crusader Kings II: Sword of Islam is the first expansion for Crusader Kings II and requires the original game to play. It makes Muslim rulers playable. It includes an updated interface to reflect the Muslim dynasties, updated graphics for Muslim religious themes and events as well as a map extension into Mali. A Muslim dynasty decadence system has been introduced as well as polygamy that allows Muslim rulers can take up to four wives together with many new Muslim specific in-game events.
