Microvolts

Microvolts is a third-person multiplayer shooter, free-to-play. The premise: Toy dolls and action figures became alive and are now fighting battles in our living rooms, kitchens, and gardens, competing for energy cells. Consequently, the game environments are designed to look like real world scenes as seen by a small toy: Huge furniture, giant food on enormous dishes, etc. Overall, the game presents itself in a distinctive cartoon style, which sometimes leads to comparisons with Team Fortress 2.

Gameplay is fast paced action, very high jumps and a lot of big weapons like rocket launchers and gatling guns. A noteworthy feature is the possibility for fast weapon switching, which can be employed for special attack combos. Several game modes are available, among them Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, or Zombie mode. Players may choose between four different basic character models, which can be customized. To obtain custom weapons, items, or toy parts, Micropoints must be spent, which can either be earned through playing or bought using real money.
