Pop Fu

Pop Fu is the first sequel to Pogo's game Poppit! and one of the five launch titles for its subscription-based service Club Pogo. As in Poppit!, the ultimate goal is to pop groups of two or more balloons with the same color, until none or a few remain on the screen. You must do this during several normal rounds and, if you succeed, in the Speed Challenge. Every normal round the game indicates the maximum number of balloons you must leave on the screen. With each successful round, a number of floors in the five-story pagoda to the right will light up. Once the light reaches the top, you'll have to complete the Speed Challenge, which tasks you with solving five balloon-popping puzzles in a limited time. Winning the Speed Challenge earns you a jackpot spin, one of the sources for Pogo tokens in the game.

There are other bonuses as well. Beating a normal round and leaving less balloons than the maximum required will unlock the Gold Balloon Bonus Round. Golden balloons hide several prizes there: tokens, throwing stars and extra time in the speed round. If you can find a pair of matching prizes, it's yours. The throwing stars, earned sometimes during the normal rounds or as a bonus, allow you to remove a single balloon from the screen. At the same time you get extra time for the Speed Challenge if you do well in the normal rounds.

Pop Fu has three levels of difficulty (Easy, Medium and Hard). Similarly to other Club Pogo games, you can earn badges for completing different objectives. Specific to Pop Fu, however, is a progression system where you are awarded belts for successfully completing speed rounds. There is a total of 25 belts to earn, starting from the white belt and ending with the black belt.
