Might & Magic: Heroes VI - Danse Macabre

Title

The title Danse Macabre was chosen in reference to the classical piece Danse Macabre, Op. 40 composed in 1874 by Camille Saint-Saëns, and the eponymous poem by Charles Baudelaire. Both works are based on the medieval concept of the "Dance of Death", an allegory of the universality of death, usually depicted by a skeleton (a personification of Death similar to the Grim Reaper) playing music and making both the living and the dead dance to his tune.

Sandro, the anti-hero of this adventure pack, is himself a Grim Reaper-like figure, and a manipulator who makes other people "dance" to his plots.

Saint-Saëns' Danse Macabre was also one of the inspirations for Sandro's musical theme.
