Greenback Bayou

Greenback Bayou is a combination between a puzzle and a casino game. At the start of each game the player has to bet 1-5 tokens. The bigger the wager, the more he can win at the end, depending on his performance. The main screen is populated by a grid of lily pads. Nine flies will randomly land on some of them. The player's goal is to help three frogs eat these flies. To eat a fly, the frogs must jump over it diagonally to the opposite lily pad, similar to the capture of an opponent's piece in draughts/checkers. That's also the only way the frogs can move around, so it will be game over once there are no adjacent flies to capture.

Occasionally, the player will meet a firefly among the normal flies. Capturing it will trigger a bonus round, where twelve lilies hide either tokens, a Jackpot spin (for more tokens) or a hostile alligator. Depending on the level of the bet, the number of flies captured and bonuses, at the end of the game the player collects his reward in tokens, which he can reinvest in a new bet or other Club Pogo games.
