This is the main menu screen. Each building, shell and tunnel is a link to a menu option.
The building on the left is a library. It houses the game's encyclopaedia of fish.
An aquarium can house more than just fish. A successful breeder can get entice a mermaid to move in.
The encyclopaedia is easy to access. Each picture represents a family of fish and links to a section of the e-book.
There's not a lot of information on each type of fish but all the essentials are there such as whether it plays well with others.
Next to the library is the player's aquarium. This is how it looks at the start of the game. No fish in it yet so its off to the pet shop.
This is the pet shop. Players can select individual fish from the main tank and every fish has a name.
The aquarium now has fish in it. The menu in the lower right has two main screens, Fish Info and Fish Diet. The tail of the fish menu is a gauge which shows the current water quality.
The binoculars in the fish menu allow the player to follow a fish. This is David, a latticed butterfly fish.
Some normal food has just been put into the water.
This is the aquarium construction menu screen. The top row of icons gives access to a group of options that scrolls horizontally in the second row below.
Items selected from the main are placed on the aquarium floor. They are moved into position by grabbing the wire frame around them, and are rotated by clicking on the blue band.
Apart from the bare aquarium settings there are some pre-designed layouts. This is the Windmill aquarium.
This is another pre-designed aquarium. Together with the previous screen shot it gives a good indication of the kind of architectural accessories that are available.
David has just eaten some neon food. The effect is temporary and it seems to be as nourishing as normal food.
This is a screenshot from the supplied screen saver.
There's a fish icon in the centre right of the in-game menu. This tags the current fish so that it can be located in the aquarium. Here Louis has been tagged and he shows up on a blue wire frame box.
The PgUp and PgDown keys zoom in and out of the aquarium. Here they've been used to watch feeding time.
