TRIP
Description
TRIP is a surreal exploration game set in a bright, minimalist, cubist world. It is the successor to the Half-Life 2 modification THAT. There are no objectives or win conditions, the player gets to watch the environment and its creatures though a first-person perspective only with the ability to move around and jump. Optionally there are 30 sprites to collect and these are stored in an inventory, but serve no further function except as a guide to explore all areas in the game. There is a saving system to continue after quitting. The world is divided into different areas each with their own theme and music track. It is described by the author as a game for relaxation, contemplation, observation, and exploration. The game comes with a digital art collection from the developer, the free webgame Tableflip: The Game and a preview of the graphic novel Kat Attack.
