Dice Derby

Dice Derby represents a combination between a gambling and a racing game. At the beginning of every lap the player has 10 seconds to roll a set of five dice. The result (similar to poker hands) will determine how far will his car move on the race track. He can improve the result by preserving the better values and re-rolling the remaining dice. However, this increases the chances of hitting one of three hazards: Overheat, Flat Tire and Spin Out. Overheat limits the number of rolls to only one, the Flat Tire hazard automatically freezes two dice and Spin Out reduces the value of the player's hand to 50%. Additionally, there are lap events (Hand Bonus, Wild Dice and End Bonus) which offer various bonuses for the next turn's roll.

A race can usually have either six or nine laps in total. The competitor with the best rolls wins the race.
