Simply the best snowboarding game on today's market.

The Good

-Beautiful graphics

-Amazing physics engine

-Incredible recreations of famous mountains

-Somewhat decent soundtrack

-Custom soundtrack support

-Very engaging World Tour mode

The Bad

-Missing a few features from previous SSX games

-The physics engine can sometimes get wonky

-The loading screen has a small tendency to freeze up

-The pause menu can sometimes get glitchy

-Online play is not what I expected from an EA Sports game

The Bottom Line
While not quite perfect, this is still hands-down the best snowboarding videogame I've ever played, and this baby will most likely keep you fully entertained while EA hopefully develops a new SSX title for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. I don't see why they wouldn't want to do so.

So if you're a hardcore snowboarding fan and just don't have the dough to get a lift ticket at your local resort, just play Deadly Descents and you'll be one happy camper, probably to the point where you'll strap on your snowboard and try to perform a Super Uber Trick off your couch.
