Description official description

This is the second Spider-Man adventure to land on the Game Boy. One day, Peter Parker wakes up feeling not so well. Things turn worse for Parker when he picks up the morning paper and reads that Spider-Man has been accused of commiting a robbery. So Spidey sets out on a quest to clear his name.

Gameplay this time around is slightly deeper than the previous title. Controls for jumping, punching, and web slinging are similar, but now Spider-Man can pick up objects that allow him to perform certain actions. For example, in the first level you need to find a key to unlock a door, and a can of oil to activate a hover bike.

Not as good as the first

The Good
I liked that Spidey returns with almost as good of a story line as the first. There Are SOME cool new features that I liked like wall crawling. The enviornments are smaller, some bigger. When you shoot web,it is not some random web,you pick the web.some of the mistakes of the first one like how many hits it took to kill the badguy has been edited to make funner.

The Bad
Mainly the environments were smaller and like Splinter Cell ,Some levels are just way too long. people should get the first instead of the second(unless they have it.)Spider-man dramatically shrunk in this game. Spidey is smaller than megaman. It hurts your eyes after a while.Like the first, there is no save feature. If you are on the last level and your batteries die, that is really bad.

The Bottom Line
Bassically new features and longer than the first spider-man. If you do not have the first Spider-Man And you have the money to get either one,I would Consider the first a better choice.

Bad

The Good
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 attempts to offer a bit more complicated game play then the first one, with Spider-Man having to locate certain items in each level.

The Bad
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 features smaller character graphics, which can become hard on the eyes. The controls are not as nearly responsive and no comic book fan is going to believe that big league super villains would be reduced to framing Spider-Man for a bank robbery.

The Bottom Line
In comparison to the first game, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 offers longer levels and more complicated objectives. Both ideas could have worked well, but only with more responsive controls, larger character graphics and a better storyline. Die hard Spider-Man fans will want to give it a try, but don't expect much.
