This is the screen that displays when the game loads

A new game is started by selecting the 'New Game' option from the menu bar

This is the shareware version so before the game begins there is a reminder to pay for the game.

Before the game begins the player must enter their name.

The game begins. Derik is in the top left corner and the first item encountered will be a tree.

An example of the 'Pick the Correct Spelling' question

When a tree is encountered and the player answers the question correctly there is a brief animation showing Derik destroying the tree.

An example of the 'Spell the Word' question. These are asked when a piece of fruit is encountered and they too are followed by a short animation if answered correctly.
