Description
Eliminator is an arcade shooter in which the player controls a futuristic space ship and scores points by collecting orbs and destroying hostile objects, such as asteroids and alien ships. The gameplay area is bordered by an energy shield that confines the player and deflects any missile, including right back at the ship, if shot at the proper angle. The ammo is limited and the player can resupply by interacting with the center E-Shield when it is active. Lives are lost when the ship either crashes into one of the energy spheres that protect the E-Shield, it is hit by one of its own missiles, is caught by the blast of a spike mine or shot by the aliens. Bonus lives are granted by collecting the Regenerators. It's game over once there are no lives left. If hit by an asteroid, the ship simply spins around erratically for a limited time and the player regains control eventually.
