The unregistered game is only valid for a twenty day evaluation period. It starts with shareware nag screen which leads Hearts which is the default game.

The game configuration options are accessed via the menu bar. As the card back and table are changed in the Preferences menu they change in the play area
The way each player behaves can also be configured
