The game's title screen isn't much to look at but it does the job
There are two screens which give both the storyline and gameplay instructions.
The start of a race. Here we see the red and blue cars on the start line waiting for the lights on the tree-like structure to turn green.
The race is underway. The car is in top gear and is accelerating down the strip.
The end of the run. The menu bar at the top shows the current time and the best time of the session.
The car configuration screen were options can be tweaked to try and achieve a better time. The L,M, and H corresponds to the three available gears on the car.
Some tweaking options can have a negative result as shown by this blown engine message
