This little chap appears shortly after the disc is inserted. The writing disappears after a few seconds and he can be seen in all his glory
thumbnail
Before the game starts there's an animated sequence that starts in a museum. Some force reanimates a computer chip creating an entire pachinko hall
thumbnail
The game's start screen. When the START button is pressed the text changes to an option, the player can select from NEW GAME, DATA LOAD or OPTION
thumbnail
Selecting OPTION from the stat screen brings up this. Unfortunately I have no idea what game configuration changes these settings affect.
thumbnail
When the player starts a new game there are two game modes, one involving a cute girl and a boy, the other a machine
thumbnail
The player id's must be entered. Here random characters have been used, (hope it's nothing rude when translated).
thumbnail
The game starts in his, or her room.
thumbnail
Leaving the avatar's room the player must select a location on the city map. Some parlor's will not allow the player entry unless they have loads of money
thumbnail
Inside a pachinko parlor. The big white hand can be moved around to select a particular machine and game type
thumbnail
This is the first pachinko machine selected. It's big, it's pink and it's named DEMON. The top number, 50000, is the player's starting credit
thumbnail
The main game screen. The square button transfers cash from the credit total into pachinko balls. Until that has been done the game cannot be played
thumbnail
The object is to fire steel balls into the machine so that they trigger the rotation of these central reels. The reels can be viewed in close-up by pressing the triangle
thumbnail
At random intervals this chap swings across the screen making Tarzan noises. He appears to stop random reels by breaking wind.
thumbnail
The outer reels stop first giving the player a chance at a win. Sometimes there is a respin and characters fight, in this case by bumping bottoms, to get/prevent a winning line

thumbnail
The outer reels stop first giving the player a chance at a win. Sometimes the central reel re-spins and these little mermaids try to get a winning line
thumbnail
The status bar across the top can be removed by the L2 button. The up/down buttons change the point of view while left/right adjust the handle power
thumbnail
They say in Japan people play these machines all night. This is a simulation and I can believe it. It took over four hours gameplay to trigger the feature.
thumbnail
The bonus feature consists of sixteen screens like this that tell a story. The bonus score is related to the kind of character on the feature line and the score in the lower right
thumbnail
Each of these is a variant on the Pachinko machine. The player can play the machine or just the feature reels
thumbnail
This machine is BIG POWERFUL. It plays the same as DEMON but has more winning lines, horizontal vertical and diagonal
thumbnail
It's possible to play BIG POWERFUL's feature reels like a fruit machine. With the right winning line this lady appears. No idea why but her presence needs to be documented for posterity
