Lux-Pain
Description official description
All is not well in Kisaragi City. Many people have been acting strangely, their lives slowly spiraling out of control. The culprit? A strain of parasites that affect mental health called SILENT. There's a secret organization which combats these SILENTs called FORT. Now, it's up to Atsuki, a psychic with the ability to read minds and change thoughts, to infiltrate Kisaragi High School in order to stop SILENT from wreaking havoc.
Lux-Pain is a visual novel for the Nintendo DS. The game is centered around a number of different phases. The first one is the investigation phase, where you can travel around the city, investigate, and talk to people. The second phase is The Sigma System, where you have to capture worms that hover around people. You can also imprint different words onto people to change what they're thinking to try and get new information. The third phase is Mental World Combat, where you have to tap the SILENT right when they turn from blue to red, in order to finally get rid of them from a person.
