Lonely house-moving

Moby ID: 66255

Description

Ayumi, the village idol, with the figure, face, and grades to match, got into a top-ranked college and is moving to a city life in Saitama. Her friend Hashio sees her off with his true feelings buried deep in his heart. Before he knows what he’s doing, he finds himself alone on the dusty country road running full-tilt after her.

Lonely house-moving is a side-scrolling action game where the player controls Hashio with keyboard, while he is running to get to the truck driving Ayumi away. Hashio can jump and move left/right on the scrolling screen. The country road is full of obstacles such as a luggage flying off the truck, a mole popping out of the ground, a crow skimming close to the ground or unloading its droppings, and Tanaka-san racing around the village on his bicycle. The player is rewarded with points for avoiding the obstacles, but Hashio's life energy is decreased slightly during the run and essentially on a collision with obstacles. The energy may be re-filled with collecting useful items flying off the truck as well or tossed by the friendly farmer. The goal of the game is to get to Ayumi before Hashio's life energy is exhausted, collecting as many points as possible.

There are five difficulty levels in the game. High scores are stored on the game server in top 10 tables for each difficulty level.
